About Me

Hey everyone! Well, to start, I'm 21 and a married mother of one. I work as a stay at home mother (definitely the hardest job I've EVER had!) and college student. My husband, Jon, is a truck mechanic (BIG trucks!) and our son, Jon Jr. (JJ) is almost 6 months old. His job is filling the family drool quota and being cute. He's also my permanent lap buddy, sitting here enjoying a teething ring as I type. We all love football, family, Hell's Kitchen, and Deadliest Catch.

I, myself, love art and museums, which is why I am taking this course. I've been to the Met, Frick, Guggenheim, and Crocker, to name a few. My favorite artists, by far, are Miro, Matisse, Kandinsky, and Picasso. I've seen a lot of others though like Munch and Rousseau, which I also enjoy.I love art, particularly abstract oil paintings and sculptures. I've seen some pretty cool exhibits and would love to learn more about the artists behind the work. I enjoy art, but I really don't know much about technique or artistic movements. I'm hoping to learn more.

I couldn't agree with you more, being a SAHM is definitely a full-time & difficult job! I was home with my daughter for a year (she's now 3) and I'm actually going back to work after my Maternity Leave is done with my newborn Son, I couldn't stay home anymore, haha. It's a good thing they're cute. Anyway, you've got a lot of interest in the Arts, lots of museums that I've never even heard of! Hopefully, I'll be able to check a few of those out myself!

Glad to have you onboard! I hope this class compliments your museum interests (I think it will). I hope your son soaks up some art skills too!

OH MY GOSH...I just watched the entire season of Hell's Kitchen cause I was extremely bored, and I decided being a chef would never be something I would want to do. That guy is mean, but it just sucks you in and you can't stop watching. Like how Matt had a come back, but the guy just talks SOOOO much. Nice to meet you!! Happy to see I am not the only one watching Hell's Kitchen.
